Civic Type-R Protection Detail. Auto Elite Detailing-Lincoln

Some pics from late last year. I am trying to catch up and get the latest ones on. Please see Facebook for latest work.

This fantastic year old Honda Civic Type-R was booked in for Protection Detail & PPF to be applied on the rear aches. Unfortunately this is a known problem with this shape Type-R, the arch sticks out and gets stone chipped very badly.

Full normal prep carried out, inc de-tar, fallout out remover, clay stage, full multi washes and rinse with pure filtered water. Single stage machine polish carried out then final wash down with IPA ready for the coatings.

All paint sealed with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light & Exov3 Alloys removed and coated inside & out as well as the calipers with Gtechniq C5 wheel armour.
Glass polished and sealed with x3 coats of Gtechniq Clear Vision.

PPF paint Protection Film custom made and fitted to newly purchased rear arch trims. Front door sills also protected with PPF. Arches and PPF then sealed with CSL & Exov3

Nice work! Imagine the PPF costs a fair bit? How much would it be to apply to a bonnet for example?

It all depends on size etc, its not cheap stuff, £400 + would be an expected cost for bonnet PPF
