Great update btw. Murphy's law was present and in full flow with that coolant hose. Really unbelievable, but great work in getting it Sorted.

No worries

My dad had a white 3 door with the red trim, swapped it for blue trim. Loved that car as I was about 8 and remember “helping” him when he worked on it lol

Excellent update and the steering wheel looks great now.

Good job on your neighbours TT - came up really well - hope it was worth it for him

Did you try the black bag on the mirror caps ?

Looking good matey! I'm toying with the idea of an E91 daily, my only preference would be black or white and I can't decide on diesel or petrol... My F30 leaves soon and using a rubbish Focus at the moment so can't wait to get back in a BMW.

I’d highly recommend it as a cheap daily if you can find a well maintained one, genuinely can’t fault the way this drives for 191K. Real testament to the way they screw cars together in Germany a lot of the work I’ve done more for piece of mind, the only real mechanical work that needs doing were the thermostats and intercooler pipework.

Love this thread and it perfect timing to have stumbled across it for me as I've just picked up an E91 Msport with 150k on and it could do with refreshing.

Do you happen to have the eBay link for the mirror glass you purchased?
