Cheers.

Clear coated and painted the subframe black. Painted the brake pipes black,

The paint I bought is a really good match and the finish it excellent, I'm now tempted to paint the whole underneath of the car, while it's all in bits.

Got most things painted and clear coated. Turns out hammerite doesn’t like clear so had to re paint a couple of bits.

Just waiting on a pair of new front springs to arrive. Due here on the 2nd.

Couple of cable ties on the cables.

Looks good! What paint are you using? I want to seal the underneath of my E36 at some point.

What shocks and springs did you go for?

Get some pics of your m3 on here. Be good to read what your up too.

Few pics of the car and few other bits I’ve bought.

With my car aluminium cube trim. I quite fancy a set of aluminium pedals for it. Should set it off nice, as the Bmw pedals are quite dull and they have been using the same style for years.

Pedal Haus do a nice set. So have told my mrs to get them for Xmas

I had a plaque designed to match other Bmw plaques for the silverstone editions and another silverstone owner found a company to make them.

Got some bilstein shocks.

And some drop links and anti roll bar bushes.

I just treated the rust, then stone chipped it and a top coat of this,

They make any colour in a can for about £12. Then I clear coated it with Halfords clear. My car isn’t a daily and won’t be used in bad weather if I don't need to, so hopefully it should last ok.

I’ve gone for bilstein b4 shocks, from reading up there as close to the originals but most people say they are better quality and a nice ride. Spring wise I’m going for standard m3 springs. Don’t want to mess with the ride height or anything.

Nice, I think I'm going for the B4s as well.
Already on Eibach pro springs.

Got the pedals I wanted. Expensive but do look great imo, better than the cheap rubbish you can get on eBay.

Got most of the front back on.

My anti roll bar bushes are the wrong size so can’t fit that, and I’m still waiting for another track rod to arrive.

Does look a lot better now.

The new brake pipes when tight are loose in the OEM bracket so need to sort that out.

Over all it’s all coming together. I’m thinking to leave the rear suspension until the end of the year. I’d like to get the car on the road and I’ve got a holiday to Land’s end booked and I want to take this car.
