Search for each dealer in your area and select book a service. They do come back with prices for me.

I picked a 335d off of Autotrader that would be needing it's first service soon. My local dealer quotes are £177 for an oil service. £235 for an oil service and microfilter. £377 for an oil service, microfilter, fuel filter and air filter.

I'm not sure about the 335d's service regime but petrol cars need the £235 service for the first time. Does the 335d need a fuel filter at first service?

No fuel filter on the 1st oil service on the Derv.

This will be oil, filter and micro filter. Can get the OEM parts delivered from one of the dealers who are on one of the BM forums for £150 and they will be making something on that so the markup plus labour is naughty for the main dealers.

Anybody interested the £340 odd quote was Halliwell Jones in Southport.

Thanks Shooie and Kerr, ran the link trough on a desktop and it will generate a quote. Randomly Halliwell Jones according to the BM website should be £212 and not the £340 quoted. Will double check with a call in the morning but they ain’t getting the business regardless can’t be trusted it seems.

Called Williams in Liverpool yesterday, admittedly after 4 and it rang out for the service dept with no answer. They are obviously very busy

Another call this morning, reception tell me that they are busy so I’ll take your details and get them to call you back. That was 10am.

Good job they are going me the favour. Bandits.

My car's from Halliwell Jones Warrington MDC, no complaints from their MOTs and servicing. Can't help you on prices as I got the 5 year package as part of the deal.
They answer the phones too. I work about a mile or two from Williams Liverpool and have found them a bit useless in the past.

To be honest, when you look at the invoice, my local dealer charges aout £160 an hour for labour, plus VAT so they are only charging an hours labour. So price seems quite good relatively speaking...

I used Williams in Liverpool for some repairs to my six month old one series sport. ABSOLUTELY APPALLING in both the quality of workmanship and the process in trying to get it rectified. Despite numerous calls to their service manager and dealerships principal I was totally ignored. Ended up contacting BMW UK and having them to sort the issues out. Williams denied me ever having complained even though I had copies of the emails I’d sent.

I then used Halliwell Jones in Warrington and In total contrast to Williams the customer service was one of the best I’ve received. I would definitely recommend them. Please stay well clear of Williams and read some of their online reviews to get an insight into what other people’s experience of them is as well. HTH

Best way to do it, find a local BMW specialist ask them to quote for a main dealer service then get the dealer to price mach it most of them do.
