BMW 335 new car prep, upgraded coatings and ppf

This car came still in the wrapping, and it was glorious. alas the areas left uncovered had suffered the usual treatment

The car was first stripped, cleaned and all the usual routines taken care of, then placed into the surgery for inspection

Initial job was to machine the whole car, and make sure that all the areas that had suffered were correct

After this, the PPF was installed. About 75% of the car was covered, extended front end, roof, rear, high impact areas and gloss blacks were all done

Whole that was being done a coated the matts

Wheels

And went to work on the hubs and callipers too

Next day the glass was polished ready for coatings

And then the whole car including the PPF was coated with optimum opticoat pro, glass with optiglass pro

Unfortunately it was a late night pick up, so no nice exterior shots, but she still looked glossy done

It's amazing how even a brand new car can be enhanced so much in the right hands.
In some ways ignorance is bliss as you can simply pick up your new car admiring how shiney it is in comparison to 99% of the other cars on the road.
That is until someone like you takes it into "the surgery" revealing the imperfections inflicted on the car in it's short life.
Then it's too late.
What's seen cannot be unseen and you notice the true condition of the paint.
It's as if DW is Zion and everyone else is plugged into the Matrix

Funnily enough I was just wondering exactly what lights the spots are, how many I'd need and how much that would set me back!!!

Love your work as usual.

What’s the rough cost to have ppf fitted on a new Porsche Gt3 Rs, I take it that would inc paint prep and apply.

It will depend on prep, coverage and any coatings afterwards. For example you could have a company go to your dealers and do it there ready for collection. However any factory/dealer defects, holograms etc will all be locked in under the ppf. All biases aside, I would recommend a detailer instead. It will cost more, but long term you will be far happier.
If you pm me your location and collection dates I will help you find someone trusted near you and expected costs

I would hope I could modify the one you have and widen the gaps, if possible?
