Hi.

On my car, Hyundai Kona Electric, there is rather much trim.
It seemed somewhat painted, but now shows grey wax residue after a couple of week.
Waxed/sealed surfaced are so much easyer to wash and maintain.

Which products do you recommend me to seal black and grey trim?

hi, That is a fair amount of grey trim. I dont know if it is a painted plastic as dont think I've ever seen one over in the UK. If you can do it and want to make life easier so your not having to keep re-treating the trim could you go down the route of a coating? Gtechniq C4 or similar?

But C4 is a "restorer". This is a brand new car.
And I don't want the grey trim looking black. Will the C4 darken the grey towards black?

The problem with the trim on this car is it being grey and "semi painted"
It has a slight gloss or satin look to it. Not closing the pores all the way, but nearly. So when inital waxing it, they looked great. Several weeks later the grey waxiness pops out and it looks rather bad.
(Had a go with APC and magic sponge last night to get rid of it. Hope it stays away.)

Any of the nano sealants will do you a fine job:

Dodo Juice Future Armour
Power Maxed Summer Jacket

Or Non Nano - but ceramic:
Autobead Shine & Protect
Britemax Remax

And finally generic Sealant:
Car Plan No1 Super Gloss
Power Maxed WInter Coat

Use any of them every time you treat the rest of the bodywork to some protection and you will be right as rain.

Use them over C4 and it'll likely never fade before you sell it on.
