TAC System Questions Thread

Hi.

Hopefully this will be a good place to get all the TAC system questions in one place for people to refer to.

Will get it made into a sticky.

Thanks

Imran

What's the recommended dilution for ultra foam through a lance? Website says 10:1 but only 10ml?

Is shinee wax polymer or waxed based? Is there anything in it that will interfere with a fussy wax or happy to sit on top

For me personally when I use Ultra Foam, I will add a finger width at the bottom of the lance (about half an inch) and then top up with water. Approx that would be 35/40ml but that would give me multiple uses from the single 1 litre mixture. I then will adjust the nozzle at the top to give the correct foam thickness. It is recommended to use 1-2" but it really depends on how thick you like your foam. I have updated the site to give better instructions

Hi,

From my understanding it is a wax polymer, but I will double check.
I am not a massive wax person, only really use Bouncer's waxes to be honest. It has had no issues at all on top on any of the ones I have used it on (generally Check the Fleck or more recently Flawless).

Any more info on the paint cleaner?
http://www.in2detailing.co.uk/tac-sy...ner-150ml.html

Does it contain any oils or fillers or just a bare base?

Hi.
This one has no oils or fillers, just bare base.

Hi,
How do you apply the zero iron paste? Can this be diluted or does it have to be spread on?

Hi.

Iron Zero Paste is effectively concentrated Iron X for really stubborn areas where brake dust has built up over time and iron zero isn't strong enough.

You use the product neat, so straight out the bottle.
If it is on wheels, I normally squeeze a bit to the area and then if it is a larger area just lightly spread with a brush.
For bodywork you can you a sponge, like a foam applicator to apply the product to the target area.

Leave it to work, approx 5 mins and then rinse off thoroughly.

Hope that helps.

Imran
