Exclamation My car of the day, BMW i next

The push for EV's continues and BMW are looking at developing electric SUV's to be called i next. Now this could be a code name for their SUV's so time will tell if the name does change. What you see here is of course a concept which will morph in to an all - electric SUV from 2021 on wards. This i next concept sits on 24 inch wheels with no B- pillar thanks to a set of suicide style rear hinged doors. The front end has extremely slim four-piece headlights that sit either side of a huge interlinked kidney grille. The cabin itself is concept style which won't look like the production version. No powertrain details have been announced as of yet. Any indications could be adopting the new upcoming i4's 120 KW battery with a 435 mile range.

Was the interior based on a 1970's concept of the future? The exterior left me with a bit of sick in my mouth.

I like the ironing board arm rest.

Iron your shirt whilst you sit in traffic.

I'll pass thanks.
