Meguiars Ultimate Compound as a one step?

Hi all,

As the title asks can UC be used for a one step correction? Car is a silver Ford C-Max.

If so what pad would you suggest? Currently have Lake Country CCS black finishing pad and orange light cutting pads available.

Thanks

Craig

On silver you can get away with it.
UC finishes really good for it's cutting ability. I've used it as one-step with a MF pad on a greyish-blue Ford Focus.

Yes, I've used on several silver cars, works best if the paint is fairly hard too. If the paint is harder I find you can get a better finish with the UC on other colours too.
