"Snowfoam" - generic term?

Am I right in thinking that "Snowfoam" is a generic term for a range of different products where the results are generally similar but there are lots of different types available from different companies?

I thought Snowfoam was a brand name but I get the feeling lots of different ones are available? Or is it the same stuff in different bottles / with different labels?

If this is the case which one is considered to be the best for pulling the filth off cars?

You'd be hard pushed to notice the difference(s) between the different offerings.
Wouldn't worry about it - get one or two and see how you fayre.

I've only tried two both from Autobrite

One clear, doesn't really smell mixes lovely with CG Maxi Suds II etc

the other yellow, smells like cat **** and woudn't mix with Hyper wash (foam was pants also)

I don't have much of the clear one left so am also interested in what's best and also a little nervous after finding something i like can i find something as good (I think AB now have a pink varient)!

That's where my lance and current 1L sample of very good foam came from - as you say the service is excellent and I got the lance £10 cheaper than anywhere else I could find through her eBay shop. Next day delivery included in the price.

But despite the foam being good I still wonder what the alternatives have to offer, even if it's just colour / smell or something "super"

I've got some Auto Rae-Chem stuff that came with my lance.

Mixed with a bit of maxi suds and with an idiot using it (i.e. me) it produced a thick foam that stayed on the car for what seemed to be ages, well happy with it.

Auto Rae Chem seems on the ball too, bought my lance off ebay at lunchtime and it arrived the next day!
