Wowos Awesome foam

Have been sampling a number of snow foams recently and tried this one today on a fairly dirty white BMW.

I used 25ml and filled the lance with 1L of water as per instructions.

I've got to say I was really unimpressed with its cleaning ability. Didn't really make any real noticeable difference in moving dirt.

Albeit the car was a little wet from overnight rain.

Anyone else tried this stuff? If so what did you make of it?

Wowos Awesome foam

I can only guess the dilution rate is complete tripe, like most foams that do nothing.

Bilt Hamber state you need 400ml in a 1L bottle to achieve the 4% ratio.

At that rate it actually cleans a very well prepped vehicle.

I really rate awesome foam and its a close second to BH which is my goto mainly because of cost.

I use the same dilution rate for all my foam (ie an inch in my bottle filled with warm water cause that's just what I do and can't be bothered working out exact dilution rates) and found it not much different to the Autofoam my main downside was it was costly when compared with BH.

I think I've a post on here where i used it I'll have a search and see if I can find it

Edit: here's one http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=389182

And another knew I'd used it on both cars http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=388662

You've read the instructions wrong. It's 25mm in the bottle, not 25ml. I know this without even checking the instructions as I done the exact same when reviewing this

Thanks macca

It was my first go with awesome foam, wished I had taken some before and after shots.

Looks like it worked extremely well in the Jeep.

I will try it again but on a dry car next time and see how it performs.

Well spotted Brian.

That could well explain it.

Cheers. You know yourself dependant on what protection is on the car, how long the dirt has been ingrained on to it etc. will make the difference as to how effective a foam is.

For me snowfoam is about removing the worst prior to wash and I've never had a touchless snowfoam but that's not what i use them for and I find sometimes even the same product has different effectiveness

Ive used quite a few and I do rate Awesome foam alongside BH and obsession wax Blizzard which is another favourite

If you dont get on with it let me know and I'll see what I've got to swap for it

Snow foam is normally designed to soften and lift dirt in preparation for a mitt wash not remove dirt completely.
TFR will give you a better result if you are trying to remove dirt with just the pressure washer.
BH Auto Foam through a pump sprayer will give you the best of both methods I have mentioned.
