Rupes Mille Pads & Polish Combo

Hi all,

After reading a few threads when getting my Mille about the polish and pad being made for this type of forced rotation I can now confirm it's rubbish.

Last weekend I had a Mini Cooper 2008 in British Racing Green to do. I used the Mille with a 6 inch Uro Fiber polishing pad with the Blue Rupes Compound.

I was super happy with the results, it cut through the German lacker with ease and even left a very good finish. I will now be adding the Uro Fiber finishing pads to the line up!

Hi Rob, good to hear you have had sucess with the Uro Fiber pads and good to know there are other possibilities to use with Mille. I have just bought a Mille and would be interested in why you are seeking an alternative to the Rupes pads. Are you having problems with the Rupes gear driven pads or just fancy a change?

My understanding is the Rupes pads are highly regarded but some complain about the thickness of the Milles blue cutting pad. Have yet to use my Mille due to work commitments but would like to know your thoughts.
