Is a lubricant other than water required for bilt hamber auto clay?

I know it says that it doesn't but I have heard some people reccomend it.

I was thinking adding a small quantity of chemical guys citrus wash/gloss to the spray bottle for extra lubrication?

thanks

I always use some car shampoo mixed with water as lube when using BH clay bars, just gives that slickness which helps reduce marring

Same here, I mix up a small bucket of car shampoo and use that.

I am pretty sure that Bilt Hamber have previously advised against the use of a soap mix or lubricant with their clay bars. Worth checking on their website as there's lots of info on there.

A quick check hasn't confirmed or denied the above but they do advise that it is good to pre-treat the clay bar with Korrosol.
