Lime prime is an oily polish / glaze.

Not sure that is the best base to then put essence over.

Agree with that, ideally you want to be back to the paint with nothing on top. Something like IPA or Eraser to remove it.....

Isn’t essence a souped up cleanser/filler? Id’ve thought it would have been fine.

Exov3 needs to be applied to bare paint too, no polishes or glazes (certainly not Lime Prime) underneath. Pretty sure it’s not a fan of Essence either, most of GTechnics coatings wont sit on on top very happily

I have used Exo v3 over essence and it works fine. Just make sure you let the essence cure for the required time.

To op, leave out the lime prime, just go essence and then top with exo, or a finishing polish, panel wipe and then exo.

there looks like some diff opinions on after putting essence on using exo v3 ? some say use panel wipe others saying no need ? would it be safer just to use panel wipe ? if so do you lose some of that shine/gloss etc ?

Id be using a panel wipe or similar (envy car care filler killer for example) before using any coating - have you used a good light source to check the paint condition? This is imperative before coating after using panel wipe and also to check you haven't missed any coating when removing residue. Leaving the car outside is different if you can get a sacrafical product on like gtechniq c2 over the coating so it can fully cure - i drove my car home after it got coated in siramik with a sacrafical layer of siramik mist on top no problem as long as it doesn't rain. The issue is using coatings outside, assuming you are. Personally i wouldn't. Mine was done indoors
