Carbon Collective Hybrid Sealant

One of the lads at work is raving about this stuff and i just wanted a few opinions, he says it is going to replace wax.

i thought sealants and waxes were two very different types of lsp. my usual car cleaning routine would usually be wash, polish, wax with wash and QD in between waxes.

where would this product fit in?

sorry for the rookie question

thanks all

Thanks,

What would make you choose a spray on sealant over a traditional wax? or visa versa

Personal preference really. Waxes and sealants can give different looks, water behaviour and application regimes to a car.

I'm surprised that there has'nt been more replies to this, i like a decent wax but during the winter the ease of a spray on rinse off products like carpro hydr02 ticks the box's for me, coating our fleet was a positive move as the maintenance is a lot easier but i still have the option of popping a coat of wax on if i want to ( our fleet that is )

Thanks ultra, i can see why people would want to use it in the winter, i still have the stuff that mercedes put on your car from the factory so for now i will just be using a QD but when that wears off spray may be my option. Waxing is no fun in this weather

If you still enjoy waxing and have time for it then carry on, if not the new gen of coatings/sealants are the way forward.
