Help with finishing wax / sealant needed.....
Please
![]() I have a Clio with great condition paintwork that was lightly single stage machined the back 1/3rd of last year; and went into the garage for winter not that long after. I'm about to dig it back out for the summer season and thought i might start with a weekend of working on the paintwork at Easter. I am a tinkerer and i love being outside; so i'd planned on the normal wash, possible decontaminate, claybar and then hand polishing with Autoglym SRP via a Lake Country Hydro-Tech hand pad; or a Scholl concepts polishing puck. And here my 'problems' start. I'm more interested in long term protection / ease of continued maintenance washes than purely outright day-to-day shine and have a few products here to use to finish. I'd intended on getting a couple of layers on and am unsure what would be best as a harder / more durable (?) base-layer.....and then what to use ontop. I have: Gtechniq C2 v3 Liquid Crystal spray. DodoJuice Supernatural Hybrid wax. Bilthammer Double Speed Wax. Colour of the car is below if it helps at all. What would you do ???? ![]() Cheers. |

Are you limited to only those 3 products?
If your paint is that good from a polish then why not ceramic coat it? That could then make washing easier and give longer protection |
