Snow foam - is it messy?

Thinking of getting some foam. As the title says. Does the foam collect on the floor for ages or is there a way to get rid of it?

Just interested as i live on a shared drive

No not really. Some foam less than others. Bilt Hamber Auto Foam is less foamy than some but has good cleaning ability.

Thanks. Any idea about some of the foamed APCs like surfex HD or green star?

I use BH Autofoam and never had any problems with it staying on the drive after rinsing car down.

Smowfoam should wash away when rinsing / washing the car afterward and won't collect on the floor no more than your choice of shampoo will really.

I use Auto Finnesse Avalanche and can't say it hangs around any, the splashback suds from my rinse bucket now that's another story - when rinsing my mit they tend to go everywhere

Snow foam will rinse away like any other kind of soap. Just rinse away with an open ended hose if you like.

To give you an idea, this is CG No Touch 4 hours later. This and Magifoam are similar where as AF Avalanche at my dilution rate disappears pretty much after the wash. You will have no such issue with BH either but it is not a "snow foam" as such.

I had to sweep it away in the end.

As has been said, tends to wash away, some more than others and it also depends on how much you put on the car...

Still, looks festive at this time of year if it doesn't
