Cool Ultra deep shine reflection

Just a quick shot of my car after a blast on the Porter Cable with Ultra Deep Shine.

Apologies for the thread resurrection but I've read you shouldn't use UDS with a machine polisher? Also ratings on this product seem poor with a lot of complaints about it drying white and showing up defects because of this some days or even weeks later.

I've just bought UDS and EGP from Halfords before getting home to read that EGP shouldn't be used with UDS whereas EGP and SRP are fine to use together.

Looks like I'll be rooting out the receipt and taking back UDS and swapping for SRP.

I also thought that it can't be used by machine. Looking great though!

Of course you can use UDS with a machine polisher, you can see the results for yourself in the photo.

As for drying white, you shouldn't use too much product or let it dry.

And you can use EGP with UDS, same as you can use HD or another wax on top. My preference is UDS with either HD wax or PS21/R222 on top.

I took mine back unopened and went with SRP and EGP for the Z4 today, not sure if that's bad or good

It will look fabulous.

Whether its 95% fabulous or 99% fabulous will be a matter for deep debate, with someone inevitably stating "All AG stuff is junk - i tried it once then binned it etc, etc, etc "

However, your car will almost certainly look as fabulous as every other car does that wears the been-around-for-years-cant-go-wrong classic combo of SRP + EGP

It will be fine and it will look deeply glossy and fabulous.
