MF cutting pad cleaning

Never used MF cutting pads before but I am going to try them out on my dads BMW to correct swirls.

I'm unsure how you go about cleaning them on the fly, have read somewhere about people using an air compressor, however I don't have access to one.

Can anyone give me some advice in cleaning, priming them etc?

Thanks
