Fantastic result - if you need encouragement then looking at those front arches should spur you on for weeks

The promised pics around the exterior now it's been cleaned up a bit:

The more I see it the better it looks

Still a bit of cleaning up to do:

I'm ignoring the interior for now!

I don’t know what it is but certain trades are just renowned for being lazy/messy and lack of general finesse. Body shops are one of them.

What you’ve done at home on those arches has made them look real amateur. Nicely done.

Rear arches now done too...driver's side before:

Masked up:

As per the fronts I applied two coats of Dinitrol 447 but curiously don't have any photos?!

Then 2 coats of colour-match base:

Followed by two coats of lacquer:

De-masked:

Same process for the passenger side:

As per the fronts, very pleased with the results

Also finished sorting the brake pad wear sensor connections on the front. Not that I'm the kind of responsible owner that would ever let brake pads get so low without changing them first! But I wanted to restore them to how Fiat intended:

And the same on the passenger side:

Next big job is the floor pan painting/protection (with another Dinitrol product), that's gonna be a messy day

Epic work! Its really coming together nicely.

The paintshop disappointment looks to not have effected the overall outcome.

Incredible amount of work!

My father in law has a blue one of these. Been sat on his drive for quite a while now, waiting till he has time to even begin to look at it!

I sent him this thread to provide some inspiration
