I'm sure pb or gyeon will sort it for you no problems.
Not expecting them to, why should they? It was purchased months ago, as stated by other members anything could have happened, lets leave this now, not worth members falling out over.

Hang on minute

No ones falling out when they post their thoughts on a open forum....I have no thoughts on cancoat not used it, but you need to re read your posts and the tones within it before you state no ones falling out

I don't care whose section it is.....it's a forum otherwise password protect each section and invite members....

Fact is this product is lucky to have people still willing yo try it after the can debarcle

If you are in business you take the good with the bad.......Al a tripadvisor for instance

Andy you are a true gent as always

Pb won't be losing out on money, it's the way warranty works

No need for you to be out of pocket at all

My personal opinion is that Gyeon should never have sold faulty cans in the first place let alone in the quantities that they did. Ludicrous what catastrophe it's caused

Hi There,

few facts to summarize this long discussion...

1. Gyeon doesn't manufacture Q2CanCoat as full product as we are not Aerosol filling factory. We had to rely on an outsourced company that filled our liquids and warrant the right work. This was a "flash point" and source of well known problems.
2. Gyeon didn't know about faulty cans as they worked for weeks - At the same time in our warehouse, as well as when being dispatched(by ocean for even 7 weeks). They got clogged up after many weeks, either already on ocean delivery or shortly after that. Gyeon would never sell faulty products...
3. Any best quality Filling company will tell you 1-3% of cans will always fail. That would mean 100-300Cans out of 10000Cans - and doesn't matter this is Q2CanCoat or hair spray...
4. We weren't reported "a piece" from newest batch yet, and it is almost 6 months on the market. And thousands of them are sold.
5. You were incredibly unlucky looking at the statistics. Shame for us you were so unhappy and posted all here - but you had absolute rights to do that. Gyeon never leaves his customers unhappy - it is just a matter of good communication. Unfortunately we haven't heard about faulty can from any of our distributors, including PolishedBliss.
6. Please give it a chance, we have plenty of absolute CanCoat fans all over the world and the sales are through the roof. Even though CanCoat was only 4 months on sales in 2014, we are expecting a 2nd prize in 2014 DW Awards when they will be officially published.

Any questions, complaints or compliments, feel free to send us PM or email us. Some threads are not worth to mess around here

Late to the party as usual, but after reading through the above there's a few things I need to clarify from our point of view...

1. We're always happy to exchange products if they develop a fault within six* months of the date of purchase (longer if they are covered by a manufacturer warranty that runs for longer than this). However, we will only do this for the original purchaser, if they get in touch via phone or e-mail.

* 3 months for all wash mitts, microfibre products and machine polishing pads

2. All of the CANCOAT we've sold since the 31/10/14 has been new stock (the very idea of us trying to sell old stock knowing that it could fail at any point is crazy - we have customers to keep happy and our reputation to protect).

3. We don't report all product faults to manufacturers immediately because it is not the priority; the priority is to process an exchange for our customer as quickly as possible and keep them happy. As it happens we've had three new CANCOAT failures recently, and we will formally notify GYEON of this soon. In all cases bar this one a replacement can was issued immediately; if Andy had got in touch we would have replaced his one too (not a knock on you Andy, I am grateful for how you handled the situation - in future though please don't hesitate to come back to us if a similar thing happens again).
