Rover Mini Cooper Sport

After improving my lights in the garage I fancied spending a bit of time working on my Dads mini that I store for him. I jacked up the car and took off the wheels and put down old towels under the arches. A liberal application of AF Citus APC and agitation with a brush before rinsing and drying. Wheels were off and cleaned to new and exhaust was cleaned with a cone on a drill. I did find time to give the car a coat of Nebula but conditions weren’t good for taking the car outside for a photo of it finished but trust me, it is a cracking finish.

The stuff in the centre of the wheel is just a little copper slip for when I put the wheels back on.

I’ve only got an old photo of the car to show what it looks like normally.

Lovely Jubbly, trumpets, how I remember them on my 1974 BL Mini, so much fun, sadly so much rust and a car pulling out in front of me, it ended in a mess, but I will never forget.
