It will but when you factor in the heat, break dust and other crap the wheels deal with your looking at about a week.

Their are very few waxes that will withstand the heat of wheels and even if you put some hi temp paste wax on them the SRP underneath wont take the heat and that will severely impact the life.

Take it from someone who had 20 spoke and 10 spoke wheels and has tried all sorts of wheel sealants and coatings and wax just doesn't compare to a proper wheel sealant

I only put the SRP on as that's what you do with normal paint. I'm getting them all refurbed properly soon as the rears are awful. The one that I took off the car to never put it back on is horrendous behind the spokes. I'll post a pic of it in a bit.

I would normally have put the new Khumo's on but after seeing so many reviews and videos about how well the CrossClimate's perform, I bit the bullet and spent the extra (about £32 per tyre). The rears will need doing before the end of the year I reckon so I'll put the Michelin's on the rear too.

Here's the wheel I took off to not put back on the car. I was intending to keep it as a full size spare. The damage to the paintwork has mostly been damaged by the fitters.

I thought I'd share this too. After getting back in my car at the the fitters, the steering wheel felt a bit sticky. Thought it must have been the grubby tyre fitters hands. Wiped the steering wheel. Yuk!
