Lovely motor mate.. I had a black gt 2.0 a month back as my company car, just love it through and through. Great handling and the torque with the dtuk box I've put on it it just pulls and pulls !! Great job on the detailing too

Lovely motor mate, can tell from reading your posts that your chuffed with it. I had a mk5 gti a few years back that was still my favourite car to date. Got an 18 month old vrs now, over ten years ahead of the golf, but still doesn't have that feeling if you know what I mean. Enjoy bud

Thanks all. Yes really enjoying the car at present. Did a few recent updates recently.

1. Fitted the illuminated door lights front & rear and also Red LED footwell lighting (again front and rear)

2. Fitted some door lock plate covers in smoked chrome

Also got this on the way home from work the other day. Had to do a double check that I was driving a GTI not my older GTD Not bad considering it's a DSG and only had 322 on it from new.

That's a gorgeous GTI. I have a soft spot still for these having owned a Mk6 GTI a few years back.

Although the R has its performance benefits of course the GTI looks more special imo.

Love the look of the Golf GTI's, especially the 7.5. I seriously considered swapping my mk7 GTD for Tungsten Silver GTI but I'm the end I didn't think it was different enough in looks from the one I had. Still, everytime I pass one I admire them.
Good work and well done. It looks amazing!

Great car, love the grey outside and interior seats. Can't believe that consumption getting 30mpg on my 540....
