Seat Leon FR

I bought my Leon a couple of weeks ago, I had the option of a company car but the BIK rates now mean it makes more sense to buy and use it for all my personal and business mileage.

Having an 18 month old daughter means time is a bit limited but after a house move I now have everything I need to look after it properly, decent size driveway, a means for a hose to reach out the front of the house and power in the garage for the pressure washer. I'm starting to stock up on some products to get me started but I'm sure I'll get through a few before I find the right combination.

After doing the better part of 700 miles in 3 days for work it was looking a bit dirty so I gave it a very quick once over tonight, magifoam snow foam, meguiars shampoo and towel dry.

When I have a few hours and a some more products, tar remover will be purchased this week, I'll do a full job with the chemical guys wax and probably some C5 for the wheels.

I've only ever had one red car, a daihatsu charade gtti I bought when I was 19, I kept that immaculate and cleaned it over or twice a week. I had a good collection of autoglym back then, and time. Strangely I saw that car on my way back from picking up the Leon, I sold it to a guy in Cornwall I think and I've moved area since then too. It looked like it needed a bit of love.

I do like the colour, the other one at the dealer I was interested in was the dark metallic grey, it had sold by the time I got there but I'm glad I bought the red, the black wheels suit it nicely.

Looking good, get the paint decontaminated and sealed, im in your boat, but ive got 2 young kids under 2 years old

A sealant is generally more durable and get yourself some dodo juice future armor to apply after washing it takes another 10 mins at the most and keeps your paint protection toped up and lasts for 2-3 months so use as a drying aid every few washes.

Remember C5 NEEDS to be applied inside with at least 12 hours to cure 24 hours is advisable.

Its hard trying to keep a car looking nice with 2 kids, a full time job and a diploma to complete but it can be done and your not alone

Hit the chrome grill surround with some black plastidip and the some gloss black wrap behind the number plate and it really lifts the front end.
