The new toy...

After some advise on machine polishing and trying out some Dodo Juice Supernatural Nano I’m a tad happy! I picked the car up a couple of weeks ago where the bodywork hadn’t seen any TLC in years and was scored and swirled all over. There are still some swirls on the bonnet but only so far I’m willing to go as don’t want to go through the clear coat but from what she looked like before to what she’s like now I’m a happy bunny!

Great cars! I had a shot in one when they first came out and if my lifestyle had allowed, I would have bought one

I used to have a mk1 before I started in the motor trade and have regretted selling it since! This one came up at a price I couldn’t say no to so had to have another... great fun to drive, not as quick as a modern car but it doesn’t need to be.

My original mk1 from over a decade ago (image saved from timehop a couple of years ago):

Another from today:

Yup, the sills were done a couple of years ago but done badly. First thing on my list is to have them done properly and the grey seal that was used put back to green, then a wheel refurb and then tidy up the exhaust...

Then I’ll be happy.
