So not much of an update really. But something at least....
Plan was to bring the commander off the road for a few months while I sort the 106 etc. But at request she's finally insured and taxed again (if you have more than 1 car admiral multicar is quite impressive!) A trip up country ensued and funeral took place yesterday. A sad day but a great one as well. Photo of the vehicle that he went to the ceremony on is below. A dodge 6x6 again family heritage.
Drive up was fab finally discovered the cruise control!! Unfortunately this showed a bit of old age and results in a new cable required because rubber has perished. But hey ho! Oh and she's spat a wheel centre badge!
Other than many miles driven nothing's happened and currently waiting for my convoy to go off to Goodwood for the weekend ☺

Not much of an update but an update nonetheless, have been using the old girl as a daily having damaged my foot and not being able to use a clutch.
Fuel.. oh my days it uses so much!!
Anyway we went off to a local show last weekend, a very quick Sunday morning wash and decided to finish the car at the showground.
Bouncers done and dusted to give a little gloss and all the black coated with infinity rubber wax

Oh and a few beading shots from the morning after lol

Wouldn't think it was the same car as post #1

Glad you're using, enjoying and looking after it!

It's looking 'Proper'!

What sort of MPG figures are you getting? 25mpg would feel about right I reckon, whereas 15mpg would no doubt be very annoying. Either way it's presumably got a good size tank so the range isn't too compromised?

Great work on getting it back up to scratch by the way.

Do you source the WC62 spares from a gentleman in the Newbury area, and will you be at his event on Sunday 15th Oct ?
Derek.
