I’m sick of hearing about it.

I've lost interest in the whole thing. It's taking the royal mick

I think the UK will be fine. Forbes has recently listed the UK as the best country for business in 2018 despite Brexit

Tbh until everything is done and dusted for sure, the exchange rates will remain low as no one knows what's going on.

Once revealed I'm pretty positive they'll go up again.

Bit tired now...and we’re still stuck with Theresa May

British politics is as much of a joke as American politics at the moment

I think it'll be tough for a few years then things will settle down and the country will pick up. Once this happens other countries will start to leave too. For now though they've got us over a barrel, 27 against 1 is not the best situation to be in.

I'm seeing things already tighten up for a lot of people. Lots of things have got a bit more expensive.

Personal debt is out of control in this country and will have played a significant factor in why people voted to leave. There's so many people with zero savings that won't manage to last a few years of hardship which I also think will the case.

It will be hard for a long time to come.
Systems as the “E” approvals for everything as food (e numbers) car industry have to be reinvented or bought in again as we are not a member of the “group” anymore.
Borders and custom control have to be created again, anyone who traded before there where open borders knows the cost and delays of a border system.
Bonded areas in docks cost a lot of money.

We will get there but is will be a long and difficult way, ad an high price.

If you realise that Foreign holidays are about 40% more expensive than 3 years ago.

BREXIT is stupid, pointless, and will unfortunately cost the country dearly.

Jobs are already leaving the country. The currency has devalued even though we haven’t left, inflation is above target, interest rates will have to rise to bring it back down and that will only cause GBP to fall further. While the UK economy slows, the US and Europe gather pace.

There was a comment about the UK being the 5th largest economy as a positive. We were 4th before we voted to cut off our noses!

Brexit is good in principle.

Every country wants independence and control of it's own destiny.

I voted to leave, not just for what the EU is now, but what it eventually become - The US of Europe, where the EU will essentially usurp democracy from all the member countries.
Now they have admitted their end goal since Brexit - EU Army (which Clegg called Farage a fantasist in the debates), Monetary and fiscal policy, immigration & refugee policy, jurisdiction over national courts etc.

All you have to do is look up the original people who wanted to create the EU and what they wanted and what they think about democracy (the economic benefits were a trojan horse).

All this talk about inflation and currency devaluation - inflation is inevitable with interest rates at historic lows (they must raise rates a lot further to reach 'normal' levels).
Regarding the exchange rate, don't pick the date when we voted to leave as the starting point as it's not a true reflection - £ has been up and down against the Euro well prior to Brexit (just look at a 10 year chart). I remember the days we use to get around 1.40 Euro's to £1 & the rate has dropped well before Brexit!

Can anyone remoaner give me an argument for staying which doesnt revolve around how rich the country (not the individual) is? Seriously sick of remoaners complaining about numbers, because they cant complain about quality of life.

I'd happily pay double for a bag of apples if it meant they were pick by a British worker on a living wage, Instead of a Polish worker on minimum wage, while a Brit is stuck on benefits.

I'd happily see us adopt a points based immigration system, which would prioritise an Indian doctor, over an Italian benefit scrounger.

But why look at quality of life, when we can just complain about our expensive quality street?

My concern is we won't actually leave, and won't feel any real benefit, because the suits in parliament make their money on arguing but never changing, so as has been said we'll end up paying into some new system instead.
