mini x protection??

Hi, guys, I've been asked to do a semi-regular maintenance wash on a mini and its got a sticker in the window saying its got mini-x protection and the old boy whos car it is is under the impression its been ceramic coated as he payed £299 for it. Im almost certain it hasnt but not 100% so before i proceed can anyone confirm this please. thanks

Think the Mini x is the same as BMW x, which was (and still is I think) Gardx ,

My understanding is it’s a paint sealant, rather than a ceramic coating...

It'll more than likely be some rubbish coating that has been thrown on.
Cant imagine it will last more than a few months
