The daughters dustbin (Ford Ecosport)

Just a short thread, seeing as I no longer have a van the travel about in I needed a vehicle to get to a job interview so my daughter said I could borrow her car as she was away with work

Unfortunately she is interested in keeping her cars in the same way I do and I wasnít prepared to use it until it was safe to do so, not sure how someone can get a car in this state in less than 6 months with only 4400 miles on the clock

Anyway here it is, not bad from a distance but covered in filth, sap, brake dust and tar and the inside is no better.....

More to follow.....

A few hours later the inside looked half decent, I used auto finesse crystal on the glass and ODK cabin on the trim and dash

Started off with a snow foam party

Whilst that was doing its thing, I got on with the wheels
Adamís tire and rubber cleaner was used to get the brown off the rubber.

This was followed by a full decontamination process and wash with ODK Sublime

It was then dried off with Adamís H2O Gaurd and Gloss and a wipe over with ODK Exhibit this combination works really, especially when you donít have time to do a full wax. Tyres where finished with Adamís tire shine and all the other trim with Adamís VTR.

L

Nice reflections

And thatís it no doubt it will be in that state again soon, so Iíll have to do it all over again

She actually said thank you this time which was a surprise as I wasn’t even expecting her to notice. Thanks for that just got the nervous wait now for the paperwork hoping that they’ve not changed their minds.

Great job. The thread title reminds me of a pal from a few years back now. He had a horrendously neglected Vauxhall Astra. A heavy smoker he called it the flying ashtray!

Lovely Jubbly, nice work, dare I say, it's very typical of many young people sadly, not all young though.
