Mystery Box

Thought i'd post this as there have been a few discussions (at least a few posts) on DW regarding Mystery boxes.

I've been tempted by one of these for a while now, from various DW sponsors and had several in my basket but never pulled the trigger.

A couple of things have always put me off:
1. Value for money, ie receiving clearance stock
2. Postage costs, I find that if I NEED something then postage is irrelevant but if I WANT something, then the postage becomes a factor!!
Anyway, when I saw the kind offer from wax planet re 30% of waxes, the temptation proved too much!

So, with the above now justified:
1. value for money because I was getting a good deal on a wax (I ordered Red October for £30 less 30% = £21)
2. £6 postage covered by the above reduction
I therefore ordered a £30 mystery box which arrived earlier today, this is what arrived:
a) Flack jacket £10
b) Shell shock £7
c) Re-dress £8
d) Aluminium £9
e) Lava £7
f) Refraction 50ml £13
A total value of £54, a very good variety of products and a very happy customer - only regret is that I didn't go for the £50 box!!

I've had a few mystery boxes and this was by far my best. I went for the £50 box and reckon it's over £90 worth of product. Here's what I got

The placebo and speed mousse are full sized so they were £38 on their own.

This is my 4th or 5th mystery box from different companies and it's by far the best I've had.

Like you though I'm thinking I should've went with the next box up

Ive seen decent reviews however to justify me buying yet more products I agreed to give the box to my wife to put by for Christmas so I've not actually tried anything yet!

I was going to give her the box without seeing what was in so it really was a surprise but clearly failed with that one
