Elite shampoo review

First review as part of the review team is The elite shampoo. I will be reviewing the below items over the next few days.

2018-11-11 10.29.51 by Darren Burchmore, on Flickr

When we was told about the items we would be receiving we was also given a bit of information about them.

The shampoo is a new version which i believe is the one available here.
(please correct me if i am wrong so this can be changed)

https://detailedonline.co.uk/collect...ple-fragrances

They have changed the formula to include more cleaners and increases lubrication at the slight modification of the dilution ratios.
More importantly its available in 8 different fragrances

I used around 20ml in my 20 litre bucket which is 1000:1. I did not fill the bucket completely but i did want a bit extra in there as the car was a very filthy and unprotected car.
As it was also a new product to me i wanted to give myself a bit extra just incase.
This is something i do with any new product just incase the marketing hype is exactly that. Hype.

My usual method of adding the shampoo has been to fill the buckets with a reasonable amount of water then add the shampoo. Once added give it a blast with the pressure washer/hose on an aggressive setting to mix the shampoo with the water.

Plenty of bubbles and suds were created and a faint smell of cherry in the air.

I went round the car in the usual fashion, starting at the roof and then working my round each side.

The suds were easily transferred over from the bucket to the paint work which is always a bonus.

Not a fan of shampoos that create suds but disappear quickly.

I only got pictures from one side of the car because i was getting judged (laughed at) by the old man.

So I went round the rest of the car cutting through the dirt fairly easily.
Again the suds stayed the whole way through the clean and later on into the day but i completely forgot to get a photo even though i looked at the buckets a fair few times.

So what is the price for all this??
A 500ml bottle is £7.99 and a 1 litre bottle is £10.99

Using at the 20ml in my, at a guess 15 litre bucket was a little higher than the recommended dilution ratio. I will be trying it in the future at a lower amount but even at that dilution to price i think it works out well.
If my maths is correct, using a 500ml bottle would be roughly 32p per wash so it is still cheaper than a car wash

Again that is an amount I chose to use. Based not only on how disturbingly bad the car was but also it being a new product to me. It can be made even cheaper with ease.

Would i buy it again?
I think so but not with the cherry scent. The one thing that slightly let it down was the scent was minimal fairly quickly for me.
If i was to get this i think i would go for apple of watermelon as i feel like they may last longer and are more to my personal preferences.
But as this was sent to me to review I certainly cant complain.

Cheers for the review mate Glad you got to put it through it's paces.

The one you received is actually a berry blast scent It is one of the milder scents out of the different fragrance options to be fair and we'll have a look into maybe making it a little stronger in future

Strangely i read it a few times and still decided in my head it was meant to be cherry for some reason

I just couldnt understand why it wasn't red either.

It was a nice fragrance but didn't stick around as long as i thought considering the initial smell.

But thats my only real "complaint" so i wouldn't worry to much.

Good review, I used about 30ml to 10L when I first used it and it was very sudsy on the car and cleaned extremely well - have dropped to 25ml and not really noticed any difference, going to try 20ml next time, but was very happy with the cleaning power and how it felt using it at 25ml

I know the bottle says to use more but the dilution ratio makes it out to be what I used I think unless I am getting it wrong.
Either way it worked well and did the job.
The cost for certain items I don't take in to account really. Shampoo wheel cleaner and glass cleaner. If they work then it's worth it.
Items that are for "looks" need to be cost effective such as gloss enhancers and other items as they are not essential.
The cleaning process is where the damage can be caused the most so I would rather invest in that.

If I felt I needed to use more then I would no problem but I didn't feel I needed it.
