Did a top-up of my annual full detail on Saturday, just to remove/reduce some very fine swirl marks which seem to inevitably appear on a black car.
I polished the roof, bonnet and boot lid as these are the most noticeable areas, the rest seemed ok. Poor Boys black hole glaze and Finish Kare on the whole car.

Even a little video

Unfortunately, the weather was not good for the Jaguar meet the next day. Lots of rain and my car got covered in tree sap blobs, very disapointed after all the effort, but still a good day out. Thankfully, the mess literally hosed off thanks to the flesh wax layer.

Looking good mate. Typical that it rains the next day.
Still, least it was clean for a bit buddy.😀

Love the flake pop!

and besides no artificial sprays, hose or jet wash can show beading better than rain!

Had a nasty shock yesterday, car hit in carpark:

Very upset as the bumper was resprayed last year.
It will require a respray, but I wanted to make it presentable, until my planned Monacco roadtrip is over.

Wetsanded with 2000 grit:

Polished with ultimate compound with a rotary pad and some touch up paint:

Very pleased for now, damage not visable from normal distance. Deep scuffs still there if you get the angle right
