Srp

Simple question, how much protection will you get from SRP and for how long?

Top it with something like AG extra gloss protection for several months of protection. I love EGP, I find the application incredibly easy, lasts a long time and looks great. It's perfect with SRP.

It very much depends on the weather. The secret to application is thin thin thin. Apply it like it costs £100 a bottle. Try it in a chemical resistant spray to mist a small amount on to an applicator. Do the entire vehicle, go and have a cup of tea and remove.

I always try to leave EGP for at least an hour, the only other advice I'll offer is to give it a really good shake before you use it as if left standing some of the ingredients can begin to separate. Good sealer though, cheap, very underrated and lasts for months.

I leave EGP for about 30 mins in warm weather, it’s great underrated stuff and lasts about 4-5 months if washed with AG Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner.

That's the great thing about EGP, it's not too fussy. I usually do the whole car, have a drink or sit down for a couple of minutes and then come back to buff off. 9 times out of 10 I then do a 2nd coat and do the same.

I've had SRP with EGP on top lasting well after 3 months with a couple Rapid Detailer top ups after washing. It's not the most durable (I don't think you'll get 4 or 5 months, especially in winter) but it's so easy to use (as long as it's applied THIN) and cheap that I end up using it quite a bit. Combined with SRP it's a great quick clean up combo that looks great and has nice water behavior for a month or 2.
