Foam cannon frustration!!

Evening all!!

Foam cannons are becoming a bane of my life at the moment and need advice, please!!

I have a Kranzel cannon that, as far as I can make out, has given up and only produces watery foam, which after 3 years loyal service is to be expected?

2 weeks ago I received my nice new cannon from Cleanteq and it worked brilliantly till today........ After 5, yes, 5 uses, it's started producing thin watery foam!! I checked the mixture settings on the top and it would only work to produce thin watery foam!! I've checked the pipe in the bottle and it's clear, used another soap to produce foam using hot water and still get the same result. I was using Anglewax snow foam in my old and new cannon, with dilution ratio's as per the instructions.

So, with 3 cars needing their spring detailing fairly soon, I'm some what peeved!! I have emailed Cleanteq this evening and will wait for their response.

Have you turned the knob all the way down so it's reducing it

If you live in a hard water area you may want to strip it down and descale the gauze.

I doubt it, but I'd phone the people from where you bought it from if by turning the knob clockwise and anti-clockwise as far as It'll go and still not working ask for a replacement.

Fingers crossed it clears it for you.

I think it could be a combination of the Angelwax foam being super concentrated and you living in a particularly hard water area.

I get this as well as the midlands is really hard water as well. I washout and re-fill the bottle with hotish water and run the whole thing through the lance. So far it has prevented it clogging up.

I think so too. I normally allow the water to flow for a while after the foam mix has completely gone, but I was thinking of using hot water to rinse out afterwards also, so that'll be part of my clean routine from now on.
