I'm with J306TD that you're being unfair.

Mark has replied on this thread offering an explanation yet less than 24 hours later you're on complaining that no-one has bothered to reply on here.

I have to say and it's only my opinion but If you've went on the phone with the attitude you've shown on here then it's no wonder that you've not had any joy with them.

Surely speaking to the retailer you bought the items from should have been your 1st port of call anyway?

Absolutely right. Generally accepted that as your contract (i.e. the purchase) was with the retailer, then that is who you raise the issue with.

That must be my mistake then. I naturally thought that as Autoglym made the product, they would know what was wrong with it.

In general all Autoglym products are top notch and never heard anything like what you are describing.
I will speak candid and say what others think but just stay quiet.

1 - Did you store it somewhere that it could get very hot in the high heat of late?

2 - Are you pulling a scam to get freebies off Autoglym?

Millions of happy customers but sadly the old saying of " You always get one "

It is common practice to take it back to where you bought it, if your tv went wrong you would not phone the manufacturer only the retailer or shop where you bought it... With some the onus is on the retailer to recoup a replacement from the manufacturer.

I find the "scam" bit extremely offensive. If you feel I need to scam a company the size of Autoglym for £12 it's a really sad world you live in.
