New polisher

Hi
I have 600w Duran da polisher. I brought it as a learning tool and it has done a good job thus far. But I have ended up polishing a lot more cars than I indented and would like something more powerful . My current machine is taking a long time to correct hard paint.
My budget is up to £200. I’ve been looking at the vertool forced drive machine and the shinemate ex695 12mm orbital polisher.
Any thoughts or recommendations ?
It’s proving abit of a mind field tbh after reading and watching reviews online .

I have the flex3401 which is more or less identical to the Vertool, been a good machine although not been used on loads of cars, seems more than capable. Cant comment on shine mate as don't know anything about it

A 3401 is a tried and tested machine which can put up with a lot of use and abuse. I'm not sure you'd get the same with the Vertool so something to take into consideration if you're planning on doing a LOT of cars. The extra £ for the 3401 is worth it if you're doing this on a regular basis and it'll be your main polisher.

The flex is a lot more expensive . I do around 5-10 cars a year hopefully less than that . These are family and friends I don’t detail for money .

If it's 5-10 cars a year then the Vertool should be fine for your needs.

I bought the Vertool FD last Christmas. I've only used it on 3 cars so far for very light polishing. Loving the machine.
