Which das 6 kit to buy?

Hey guys

Just looking on cyc as I need to get some scratches out and improve the overall look of a few cars.

They’ve got a fair few das 6 kits and I must admit I’m a little lost.

Should I go for a v2 or a pro?

Budget is constrained but it seems best value to get the kits with pads included. I’m leaning towards the chemical guys complete kit.

I’ve got to sort some deeper scratches so thinking I may need quite a heavy cut pad. I’m also a bit worried about only having one of each pad. I read you need a few to stop them overheating and splitting. Given I’m hoping to try an all in one polish (I know the pack above isn’t an aio) would it be better to build my own set up and get several of the same pad?

Thanks!

Hi Floz, just seen this post after I wrote an essay in your other thread.

Apologies, that is a really good response. Thank you for that. I was worried no one would see the bit about the kits as it was in the polish section and looking to order ASAP.

I think I posted the thread minutes before you responded. Had I seen it I wouldn’t have done so.

Mods please shut down this thread. I’ve got my answer.
