Recently joined the detailing world family. I’m not a detailer (just a humble paramedic) but I do like a clean car. I’m amazed at the information and knowledge/ help which is available on this site. I’ve just bought a diamond black Volvo XC90 and want to improve the paintwork ( it’s got a lot of surface scratches) This site has given me a huge insite into how to improve my cars appearance, I’m am however wanting to buy a da polisher but as yet don’t have to confidence to do so.Any guidance is most welcome.. Phil.
Phil, welcome mate! Don't be afraid to jump in. There's tons of advice and tutorials at hand. Grab a DA and enjoy just like I did, it's easier than you think! I'm a driveway hero dood. Just enjoy it is the main thing.
Welcome Phil from over the border on Suffolk. Like you it took me a while to buy a da polisher, but so glad I did you soon get the hang of it, best thing I did was get a scrap panel to practice with.
Look forward to seeing the pictures of your volvo.
