Tried out another wax from Jays wax. its more of a show wax but its easy to use and i have hardly used any. for £13.30 its brill.
also the rear k sports have arrived. cant wait to get them on. ive painted the edges to help with corrosion. and just looking into a ceramic coating for them.
Without exaggerating, this is probably the most nicely modified car I've ever seen. All the mods are real enhancements and really classy without looking at all chavvy. Keep it up mate and I can't wait to see the new brakes on it!:thumb:
I've got a pot of jays wax and like you say it's a very nice product very easy to use and leaves a stunning finish and for the price you can't really go wrong for a show wax
Nice mods coming on there. Those brakes look epic. A pretty penny spent there.
For ceramic coating you could use dlux. I know you ordered c5 but dlux is just as good and get double the amount for the same price of c5. Have a look.
Cheers pal. Yeah I noticed some you got more. If I get on with it I may do the wheels in the summer. I ordered c5 as a local company has it in and comes with panel wipe and application kit for £25. It's a last minute thought really. So need it asap because it's booked in for next Tuesday.
Managed to prep the rear ready for my big brakes. all cleaned, painted and wheels have hasd a ceramic coating with gtechnic c5 on the inside, the cant get wet so ive had to cover them up, also made and replaced my mudflaps. not bad for an afternoons work
Had a spare morning so i stripped down the front calipers to regrease and clean down.
Also cleaned all the arches down. Calipers and wheels have had a coat of c5
Cheers pal. Well I've got a tiny side stripe to fit. Prob just for this year's shows. Then back to the oem look. Main thing is front end respray now. But I'm buying all new carbon. A genuine rs bonnet so the vent holes look right underneath. Maybe change the grills to matte black. Don't know when this will happen as I've spent a fortune this year already. So will have to see. I have loads of ideas. But alot will just be making things better. Need to tackle the wiring ingredients n the bay. Make it look tidy.
Very tidy job throughout mate. You must be well pleased with the results as they are really impressive. The work done under the car is often unnoticed but the fact that you have done it anyway just makes the job even better. Nice!
