Ah ha, OK thanks.

Well, then i will reiterate what i said in that post : the original 1275GT will be spinning in its grave, to see this pale imitation....

Yeah, but if it had a 3.2l V6, they'd have to make 3200 of them.

I love my MINI's but this effort is a joke IMHO

The engine that they've put in & the fact is still has halogen headlights is killing it for me

I had a black & gold 1275GT Mini when I was 18 & comparing this to it is a disgrace

Sorry big fail & no from me SB

Massive no from me. Not hard at all if they really wanted it to be special make it a hybrid, 1275cc Turbo and some electric boost would have meant 220-250bhp easy. But manufacturers are stuck in this weird all petrol or all electric phase atm.

I still maintain a hot hatch hybrid would sell very well, good mpg, great performance and able to drive in city centres in the near future.

As for the 1275GT not being great I disagree massively, far more fun than 90% of modern cars, even my 1969 Cooper S would be more fun (when its finally restored)

James.

It's fun, but mini seem to produce soooooooo many special editions and/or you can spec a mini to be anything anyway with millions of combinations on engine, interior etc

Always fun though

It’s just a black mini with a gold stripe down the side, not really a special edition imo
