I know from looking around here that a few of you are into your bikes.
You dont have to be to appreciate the TT, its unique.
A little taster here http://www.itv.com/ITVPlayer/Video/d...5&Filter=42970
And its on ITV4 all week.

Unlike the UK there is no national speed limit. There are speed restrictions in built up areas, but after passing a 'National Speed Limit' sign there ceases to be any speed restriction, although people driving in a reckless manner may well be stopped by the police.

Yes, as I said - no speed limit on the 'open roads' - the limits in built up areas are pretty strictly enforced, or they were all the times I've been there

Good to see ITV4 giving it some coverage. Actually, ITV4 is looking pretty good for motorsports and cycling coverage these days.

well my mates were there last year and they said that the speed restrictions are in places of "danger" on the open roads ( ie where people were coming off ), however i havent been myself so not sure if this is true.

Racing postponed until monday & Cameron Donald has blew his shoulder out in the last practice session big shame seeing as he did a 131mph average lap "unofficially" the other day.
