Car is now booked into Ecosse Powdercoating Services next Sunday.

They are going to media blast (in their cabinet) the metal parts behind the chrome trims to get them off, remove the TPMS AND dip/strip the wheels, fix any marks, chips or scuffs then powdercoat the wheels in a similar silver to they currently are/should be.

Winter tyres will then be fitted and 2 of the Dunlop summers scrapped (2 good ones kept).

They are confident they can get the trims off but also can remove them, cut away the bolt lugs and leave the wheels without chrome trims.

What do you think about removing the chrome strips (anyone good with photoshop can remove them?)

Personally I’d be keeping the 3rd spoke in, think they look nicer and that little different - whether I’d keep them chrome or change to a different colour, hmm that’s a decision...
