Car been running great since the work @ Lexus was done.

Also, coped well with the cold, very icy conditions thanks to the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D, which have now been on for nearly 20,000 miles (through since last winter) and have been super in all weathers! I'll never run a RWD car ever without winter tyres on it!

Epic dealer, can't say that about most mainstream dealerships, after my experience with V**xh***, I would never buy another V**xh*** again.

Absolutely.

Unfortunately all my lights came back on again, so it's going back in again on Monday. They thought if the fault was not cleared by the sensor repair it may need a new hub and an ABS control unit too... who knows what will come out!!

I did however, finally swap out the yellow sidelights for a set of Osram white look ones - after the LED's were hopeless and eventually all flickered.

After:

A bit better and look whiter in real life than the old ones. Worth the £10 and 10 minutes work (and hand scraping in the engine bay as it's so cold!!)

First, really hope you get it sorted out quickly and easily...
Second, yes, the white light looks much better and third, car still looks very good - obviously your little helper making all the difference

Tried to get out and give it a quick wash earlier this week - sometimes it's weeks between washes as so busy. Still, no washing is probably better than bad washing!

Had the car into Lexus Edinburgh again today, all lights now on all the time. New IS300h courtesy car.

Phoned around 4:15pm - car sorted.

Wiring loom had corroded and the fault lay with a speed sensor so they replace the sensor, the hub and the ABS wiring loom.

The best news - once again, all covered under Lexus Warranty - bear in mind the car is now 11 years and 6 weeks old!!!

Collected the car tonight, running great, only cost was the courtesy car insurance for the day.

Done

Anyone looking for a bombproof car that, should it go wrong and is under Lexus warranty, buy one - cannot fault the service.

The one faux pas - they phoned me an hour later to say I had dropped my bank card in their car park but they had found it and were keeping it safe for me! Lucky day.

That is absolutely nuts. Fantastic service. Really outstanding. Looks like I'll be buying a Lexus next.

Other manufacturers could learn a thing or two from them.

They absolutely could - from the service staff to the slickness of the whole process, the quality of the showroom car prep to the quality of the coffee/drinks/snacks menu, from the centre host to their manner on the phone at all times. They also ALWAYS follow up every visit with a phone call to confirm you are happy with service and, if they don't get you, they email AND write to you too, to ask for feedback. Importantly the feedback is requested by the after sales manager and gathered by a neutral staff member so customers can always be honest.

I may add that the car is NEVER washed as requested by me, so no dealer inflicted swirls - other than the time my wife took it in and forgot to let them know. They just now know every time not to wash my car!
