Being a 'detailer' does pay off........

Most people close to me know i love being outside tinkering and detailing. My neighbours likely think i'm an idiot for "all that cleaning". Folk at work think i have OCD. Me....i just really enjoy it !

Either way - my Boss has just taken delivery of a brand new work-truck and asked if i'd help protect it for him. So today i got to spend most of my time outside in the sun; doing something i really like.

Main aim of the day was to get some protection on the paint, the wheels and the windows....not really worrying about plastic trim etc right now. And sorry - i have no 'before' picks and the pics i did take were only on my phone. But after delivery late last week; it then did quite a few miles Bank Hol weekend towing a caravan in all that shocking weather.....and it wasn't hugely pretty. Although a great base to work on being so new.

No fancy products. Just solid performing favourites here:

Windows cleaned and then 2 layers of AngelWax H2Go applied.
Car foamed with BiltHammer Autofoam.
Wheels sprayed liberally with Bilberry.
After allowing both to soak the car was jet-washed.
Cleaned via 2BM using microfibre mitt and Megs Gold Class.
Dried with a Gyeon Silk drying towel.
Collinite 476s applied, removed and allowed to cure for a few hours.
Top coat of Gtechniq C2V3 applied to all paintwork.
Wheels sealed with Poorboys wheel sealant.
Tyres treated with Megs Endurance.

Hopefully will now stay looking nice for a while........

Cheers.
