One of our cutomers had his lovely 335d completely treated with Nanolex Premium - inside and outside - when the car was in brand new condition.
The car is used for business and does around 24000 Kilometers a year (we gave a 3 year - 36k Km guarantee on the Premium for paint and at least 24k for the rims). The car is washed every Saturday by hand (very few exceptions were made). So last weekend I had the chance to see it right after it was washed and took a couple of pictures after we refreshed the Glass Premium on the windshield ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We do recommend the Premium for exactly this type of usage - as you can see the sealant really preserved the car (especially the rims) I was able to take a couple of pictures during the washing routine - the car does ~500km a week - this is the rim before ![]() and this is it after one hit with the pressure washer (no cleaning agents, sponges, brushes etc. used). ![]() Questions & Comments welcome! Cheers, Florian |

I'll be Nanolex premium treating the wheels on the wife's BMW soon as this is exactly the effect that these tricky wheels need.
Nice one |

Hi Florian,
Looks like a real winner ) http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=109006 The only little thing that could potentially break my heart is knowing that after it's been applied all I have to do (all I could do) would be the occasional wash. We all like to play a little now and then ![]() However, I can see the benefit now in getting the wifes car done as that has to look clean and a quick wash over with the PW every weekend wouldnt be that much of a hardship. Thanks again Mike S

Thanks for the kind words Mike, perhaps I could pop down to you at some point maybe and apply some of the Nanolex sealant to some test areas, to see how it fairs.

![]() Mike, I have to say your absolutely right about the 996, I've been showing that thread around a lot actually, it really does show what a professional overall treatment done by an experienced professional is capable of! But you are right, after it was applied there is no more need to play around... I know this is a flaw for most DW users but I think it is very for cars that are used a lot and people who don't want to spend so much time cleaning theirs (I don't belong to them ).Cheers guys and thanks for the kind comments! |

I have to admit we do not have to much experience when it comes to this, but I don't recommend topping our sealants. This has one main reason: When it comes to nanotechnology car care there is one main thing our sealants offer that is really distinguishing: the self-cleaning characteristics they offer -> the car stays clean for a longer time and you can also clean it much easier and much more environmentally friendly (most users clean their cars with plain water). So by adding another layer on top this characteristic (the "Lotus-Effect") would be covered and basically you wouldn't get to enjoy the main benefit you have from adding the sealant. I also can't say how other products will act when they are applied - I suppose most waxes/sealants would stick to the surface, but since the Nanolex sealants reject other substances the durability of the topping would probably be less than normal - but I also don't want to keep anyone from experimenting! And please don't get me wrong - I don't want to talk about other products in a negative way (We also offer Dodo Juice, Meguiars and many others to our detailing service customers) - it's just that for this application I can't think of anything that might not effect the self cleaning. We always like it when our customers try things with our products and share their experiences because we always look for new applications/methods. Cheers, Florian |
