Drive 'n' Shine - Teutonic Treatments!

Been a busy week over in Drive 'n' Shine towers, so I thought I'd stick a few different bits and pieces that have been going on.

First up this Cayenne, in for a 2 day enhancement to knock back the heavy swirling and reduce some of the deeper RDS.

Some befores of the defects

50/50

Some random afters

Sealed with Nanolex basic sealant.

Big thanks to my willing helpers on that one, especially my tar removal man, who managed to consume an superhuman amount of Preptone!!

Next up wheel refurb, bumper fix and caliper/hub paint!

Paul from Shine On arranged to pop over and leave his car for a couple of days to have his alloys refurbed, a bit of bumper damage sorted, and while his wheels were off, the hubs and calipers tidied up.

Paul wielding the wire brushes - and before anyone says about the dirty arches, there was no time to wash them off as John the wheel man was waiting to whisk them away, so it was in, up and wheels off!

Wheel nuts got repainted as well

Joe the bodywork man then arrived to sort out the bumper.

Paul looks on in anticipation!

Levelled and primed

And how it looked the next day

Of course Paul didn't think he was just going to be able to stand around drinking my coffee while I worked, so he willingly jumped in with his rotary to give me a hand on the Cayenne and this E46 Convertible again another enhancement detail, which started off looking like this.

And after being finished with Swissvax Blau Wiess looked like this.

John my wheel man returned with Pauls sparkly new wheels and they were promptly sealed with Nanolex premium.

We tried out the lowering kit, but after fitting it turned out to be the wrong one it was for a Hummer apparently!!!

A quick wash and looking mint in the evening sun!

Not the most indepth write up, but something different.

Big thanks to Paul and Mr Preptone for the helping hand and enjoyable company

And cheers for looking

Bryan

Nice work! Love the Cayenne turnaround, superb! What in God's name had they been washing it with sand and water!

Cheers

Yes providing proper maintenance procedures are followed, i.e safe wash and drying techniques
