Following on from the application of Nanolex Sealant on my wheels, nearly 2 months and 5000 miles ago, in this thread: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=115004
Today, the car was washed. Wheels simply foamed with Supa Snow Foam (as they have always had since the sealant application, no wheel cleaners used) and run over with a Swissvax Wheel Brush, then rinsed. The videos below show the water behaviour on the wheels after cleaning... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comparing this to the results at the start we can see the water is still beading and sheeting quickly on the wheel. Squeak test reveals no squeaking and this combined shows the Wheel Sealant is still performing very well. Nanolex say it will last a lot longer than this, but already it has outlassted any other wheel sealant on my Volvo's wheels (which seems hard on wheel products, Collinite being one of the best lasting!) Next update in a month or two, but things are looking very good thus far ![]()

sounds like it might be worth the price tag. How often do you wash your car, Dave? Do you just use soap and water and SV brush?

Yup it does... but its beaten on the durability front here. Its good though in that you dont need a 12 hour curing time, which is why I use it a lot on details while the Nanolex undergoes this trialling... But I can see Nanolex taking FK's place on wheels.

I've only used it once and I wasn't hugely impressed with it to be honest, though others have had better results than me....

Looking good so far Dave i'm currently using Collinite this might be worth a look then as the durability looks to be holding up better then my current product. Thanks for the review.
