The SN Trim Sealant Kit review
Hello guys
today i finaly got around to using my sn trim sealant kit. The kit comes in a very taste little box very profesional little metal container in which the sealant is in and all so a lint-free/low lint microsuede cloth as the dodo guys have mentioned a standard microfibre isnt up to the job i tested this to day and they wernt joking . For thows of u who havent read the reviews the sealant is based around ‘crystal’ resins which makes them 50 times thicker than a wax. so in theror it should last the winter months a head This is the kit. ![]() ![]() So after taking an hour to read throw the instuctions which u have to with this product and get happy with how the kit works i started having a little play following what the instructions say about it been like a varish is very close and i found it best to keep the microsuede cloth soaked with the product so as i moved along the surface i had plenty of resins in front and go in one direction not circles i found it easy either side to side or up down, as once this products down it starts to dry quite quickly with in 5 mins and it is a product that can't be buffed off once its down it sets so quickly. But if u make a mistake u can remove the product with somethink like white spirits so it isnt permant so u can remove as i found, having little test parts on the car. It isnt a product that u can rush at it needs time effort putting in it took me about half hour to get it right and make sure i was happy with what i was doing. so i thought i would show u on a wing mirror plastic, so taped up wing mirror before ![]() ![]() know i made sure it was a clean surface degreased tardis the full works ![]() this is after removing the tape u can see the product in the top and bottom half doing its thing and in the space of putting the cloth down and removing the tape it was tuch dry but slightly sticky. ![]() ![]() ![]() so i filled in the missing part in the middle by going side to side and left it for around 45mins and it was complete dry ![]() ![]() this is the final picture, the picture realy doesnt do it justice as in life it feals smooth and looks realy dark my crap cam has brought the plastic trim up ten fold my overal thoughts on the product once u have masted the use of the product it is spot on, the results are out standing but u need to put the effort in to get the best results. the long term result i will up date in a months time and every month for the next 6months as they say it should last up to 12 monthsthink that about covers it any question just ask tom |

excellent as that area is textured on my car and I tried a long life trim product there but it didnt bond well, but it worked really well on the smooth areas.
