Found this on another forum that I go on now and again and just wanted to share the threads with you. True Brit nostalgia really, seeing as it was.

That's a great site - the old hospitals always puts a chill down my spine especially when they show the post mortem slab!

There are other threads where you can see some of the industrial espionage type tactics. Zetec SE engines, Caterhams etc etc. Shows that underground research was done.

I walked around many of these places in 1979-82 when I was an apprentice at Austin Morris. I looked up at the corrugated rooftops of the East Works at the bullet holes from the war. Then there were 35,000 workers knocking out classics like the Allegro and the millions of Mini's. My dad did 53 years and my six brothers all did there share there. It's so sad to see the dereliction that's taken place but the pictures manage to catch the "spirit" very well.

Wow I am amazed buy those pics cant belive there are still cars well chassis on the production line!
In one of the pics you can even see stacks of brand new tyres in the back ground
Got a feeling my evening is going to be spent looking at all the pics on that site as ive just found the MOD section.

One question though did he break into the site or was he allowed to be in there?
